Dr. Gabriel Altman received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from the Palmer College of Chiropractic – Florida, home to the largest chiropractic research program in the world.
After graduation, he developed his niche of treating patients with chronic musculoskeletal pain, pediatric sports injuries, infants with delayed motor development and vertigo-type disorders. Dr. Altman had noticed that combining the latest treatment methods and being informed of what the latest research shows has allowed him to help treat these patients quicker and more efficiently.
Dr. Altman believes that every patient requires an individualized, tailored treatment plan. He uses sophisticated movement screens and neurological testing to help assess and evaluate injury patterns, which can be the result of daily habits such as posture, overuse of phone/computer screens or sub optimal motor control habits.
His assessment and treatments include discussion of all previous histories, treatment approaches, bloodwork and imaging to make sure that a global diagnosis is established.
He is a Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization Exercise Therapist and he is certified in Active Release Techniques, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and Strongfirst Level I Kettlebell training.
He has taught seminars nationwide teaching over clinicians and students how to identify key movement errors and neurological errors in patients with chronic pain.
Dr. Altman loves the challenge of learning new approaches or talents. His favorite activities include learning piano, singing lessons and playing golf. The ability of the mind and body to learn new patterns is the key of life.
